AI that leaves room for imagination
The child tells the story. Budding helps make the book.
A creative tool for kids should amplify their decisions, not replace them with a polished answer before they have had time to imagine.
Page-by-page authorship
Children add one story moment at a time. They decide who appears, what changes, which problem matters, and when the story is finished. Budding creates only the page currently being requested.
Challenges instead of answer menus
When a child feels stuck, Story Helper asks an open question with a creative constraint. It does not offer three ready-made plot outcomes for the child to select.
- Use details already present in the child's book
- Ask a question that can have many answers
- Avoid revealing a correct or preferred ending
- Let the child ignore the helper and invent something else
A finished object builds ownership
Pages, cover, narration, and reading live together as one book. That makes the child's sequence visible and gives families something concrete to reread, discuss, and celebrate.
