A parent-facing safety overview

Know what an AI story maker asks from your family.

No creative AI product can promise that every output will be perfect. Budding focuses on clear adult ownership, limited child-facing setup, provider safety controls, and honest sharing choices.

Accounts belong to adults

Parents, guardians, and teachers use the account path. Children do not need their own email address or social login, and the adult remains responsible for supervision, sharing, and account actions.

The child experience stays focused on the book

  • No third-party advertising in the creation flow
  • No payment prompts aimed at children
  • No AI-provider jargon a child must understand
  • No switching providers to bypass a safety refusal

Stories are private until an adult shares

A family may turn on a public-by-link reader. Anyone with that link may be able to view the book, so parents choose when and where it is sent. Shared books are permanently marked noindex and are excluded from Budding's sitemap.

Parents retain data controls

Signed-in parents can use the account's data-export, privacy-request, and two-step deletion controls. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@buddingstories.com and support questions to support@buddingstories.com.
